ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned recent attacks by Israeli settlers on cities and villages in the occupied West Bank, including the killing and injuring of several Palestinians in Kafr Malik village near Ramallah.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) denounced the continuous settler violence and urged the Israeli government to take full responsibility by condemning these acts and holding perpetrators accountable. The Ministry warned that failure to act would be perceived as tacit approval, further fueling hatred, racism, and regional instability.
The UAE emphasized the urgent need to stop the escalation and protect civilians in accordance with international law and treaties. It also called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities in ending Israeli violations and preventing further deterioration in the occupied Palestinian Territory and the broader region.
The statement reiterated the UAE’s commitment to supporting all regional and international efforts aimed at advancing the peace process, achieving a comprehensive and just resolution, and preserving the two-state solution.
