DUBAI: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, marked the 25th anniversary of The Executive Office, commending its role in advancing Dubai’s position as a global leader in innovation, governance, and future-readiness.
Speaking at the celebration, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted The Executive Office’s impact in translating strategic visions into tangible achievements and shaping Dubai into a future-driven city. He described it as “a launchpad for exceptional ideas and bold initiatives” that have contributed to the emirate’s economic and social progress.
Also present at the ceremony was Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai. The event included an exhibition showcasing landmark projects and a video highlighting the Office’s evolution over two and a half decades.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of The Executive Office, credited its success to the direct guidance of Sheikh Mohammed. He described the Office as a “laboratory for bold ideas” that has played a pivotal role in Dubai’s transformation.
Key initiatives under The Executive Office include the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai Holding, Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives, and the Smart Dubai and Dubai Future Foundation programs. These projects have significantly boosted the emirate’s economic output, enhanced government services, and elevated Dubai’s global standing.
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed the Office’s ongoing mission to fuel innovation, enable effective governance, and drive sustainable development, underscoring that 25 years of achievement are only the beginning of Dubai’s continued transformation journey.
