LONDON: New Zealand's Joseph Parker will face the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois undisputed heavyweight title fight in London this July, promoter Frank Warren confirmed.
Usyk, the undefeated WBA, WBC, and WBO champion, and Dubois, the IBF champion, will meet in a four-belt showdown at Wembley Stadium on July 19.
Dubois had initially been scheduled to fight Parker in Saudi Arabia last February but withdrew due to illness.
Warren, whose Queensberry Promotions represents both Parker and Dubois, clarified that the WBO has mandated Parker as the next challenger after the Usyk-Dubois fight.
"Joe will be fighting for four belts now, so he's in a better position," Warren said, expressing hope that Dubois would win.
Despite a previous agreement allowing Usyk to face Dubois first, Parker remains the top contender once the titles are unified.
