DHAHRAN: The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) will celebrate Eid Al-Fitr with over 25 events from March 31 to April 2, featuring exhibitions, performances, and interactive activities.
The event will highlight master artisans in papermaking, calligraphy, and ornamentation, alongside an installation inspired by mudbrick architecture and traditional palm-based crafts.
At the Children’s Museum, activities include Eid-themed workshops, storytelling, and games like "Eid Wheel" and "Balloon Art". The Eid Echoes experience will offer a 360-degree audio journey capturing the festive sounds of Eid.
The library will host Eid-themed storytelling sessions, while the cinema program will feature Japanese anime and international films, including The Wind Rises and Chibi Maruko-chan.
Visitors can also explore AI-powered interactive displays, a VR journey through historical Eid celebrations, and live oud performances in Ithra’s gardens. The Lush Garden will offer games and challenges for families, while the Energy Exhibit will have special Eid programming for children.
