RIYADH:The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority is advancing environmental protection and ecological restoration, coinciding with the second anniversary of the Saudi Green Initiative (SGI).
As part of its commitment to Saudi Vision 2030, the authority has rehabilitated over 700,000 hectares of land, planted three million trees, and distributed four tons of seeds with the help of 11,000+ volunteers.
Key initiatives include safeguarding vegetation from vehicle damage, educating communities on reforestation, and raising awareness about the harmful effects of logging.
