KSrelief Clinics Provide Medical Services to 2,789 Patients in Zaatari Camp

Amman: The clinics of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided healthcare services to 2,789 patients at the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during the first week of May.

General medicine clinics received 778 patients, while internal medicine clinics treated 128 individuals for conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma.

Pediatric clinics attended to 226 children, dental clinics received 131 patients, and women’s health clinics treated 312 women.

The ear, nose, and throat (ENT) clinic treated 66 patients suffering from various infections, and the ophthalmology clinic provided care to 37 individuals. The cardiology clinic treated 15 patients, while diagnostic radiology and rehabilitation medicine clinics each served 37 patients.

In addition, 3,245 laboratory tests were conducted for 284 patients, and 217 imaging procedures, including X-rays and ultrasounds, were performed for 184 patients.

These efforts reflect KSrelief’s ongoing commitment to providing essential healthcare services to Syrian refugees in Jordan.
