Los Angeles: Vin Diesel has revealed his three conditions to return for Fast X: Part 2, the final chapter in the Fast & Furious saga. Speaking at Fuel Fest in California over the weekend, the 57-year-old star stunned fans with his bold demands to Universal Pictures for the 2027 finale.
According to Diesel, the studio approached him about concluding the franchise with a major finale set for April 2027. He agreed on three terms. “First, bring the franchise back to L.A.,” Diesel told the crowd, stressing a return to the series’ roots. “Second, return to the car culture, to the street racing,” he added. His third and most emotional request: “Reuniting Dom and Brian O’Conner,” referencing the late Paul Walker’s beloved character.
Walker starred in six of the films before his tragic death in a car crash in 2013 while filming Furious 7. Since then, the franchise has continued with tributes to Walker, including digital recreations and mentions of his character.
Vin Diesel’s vision for the final film seeks to honor the franchise’s origins, core themes, and Walker’s enduring legacy.
