RIYADH: Under the patronage of Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel, the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Unified Procurement Company for Medical Supplies (NUPCO) to enhance cooperation in medical supply chain management and procurement services.
The MoU was signed at the Ministry of Health in Riyadh, in the presence of KFSHRC CEO Dr. Majid Al-Fayyadh and NUPCO CEO Engineer Fahad Al-Shebel. The agreement sets a framework for collaboration in developing digital platforms, improving logistics, integrating product catalogs, and promoting knowledge exchange in business development and IT. It also aims to advance clinical service alignment and apply artificial intelligence to improve healthcare delivery.
KFSHRC was recently ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 15th globally among the top 250 academic medical centers for 2025, and was named the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the region by Brand Finance. It also featured on Newsweek’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals list for 2025.
