His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted a high-level meeting in Riyadh on Friday, bringing together leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Jordan, and Egypt to discuss pressing regional and international issues.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the discussions centered on joint efforts to support the Palestinian cause, the ongoing developments in Gaza, and broader regional and global challenges. The meeting underscored the participating nations’ commitment to enhancing cooperation and addressing key geopolitical concerns.
The gathering was attended by prominent regional leaders, including UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
During the meeting, the leaders reaffirmed their support for convening the upcoming Emergency Arab Summit, scheduled to take place in Cairo on March 4, 2025. The summit is expected to address critical regional developments and strengthen Arab unity in tackling shared challenges.
The discussions in Riyadh reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to promote stability and cooperation among Arab nations, reinforcing the Kingdom’s role as a key diplomatic player in the region.
